Terms of Use

1. Who we are

MoRide is operated by MoRide. MoRide is a marketplace: we connect travellers with independent, licensed operators in Mauritius. We are not the operator of the trips, vehicles or tours listed.

2. Bookings

When you book, your contract for the trip is with the operator. MoRide doesn't take a payment from you: you pay the operator directly after the trip, the total shown when you booked. Cancellations and problems are handled as described in our cancellation policy.

3. Keeping it on MoRide

Contact details are shared once a booking is confirmed. Arranging a trip found on MoRide directly with the operator to avoid booking through MoRide is not allowed, and reviews and dispute handling only apply to bookings made on MoRide. Repeated attempts to share contact details before booking may lead to suspension.

4. Operators

Operators must hold, and keep valid, every licence and document the Tourism Authority and other authorities require for what they offer. MoRide checks the documents operators upload and hides listings whose documents are missing or expired, but operators remain responsible for their own compliance, vehicles, staff and conduct.

5. Reviews and messages

Reviews can only be left for trips booked and taken through MoRide and must be honest. We may hide reviews or messages that are abusive, misleading or break these terms.

6. Accounts

Keep your sign-in details private. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or to break these terms. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

7. Liability

MoRide is responsible for running the marketplace with reasonable care. The operator is responsible for the trip itself. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the laws of Mauritius, including consumer protection law.

8. Suggestions and Discover

Anyone with an account can suggest a place. We check every suggestion and decide what to publish: we may edit it, decline it, or take it down later. Sending one is not a promise that it goes live — we publish what fits MoRide, and we tell you either way.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
